From initial concept to finished programme, we manage the whole process. Budgeting, layout, music, graphic styles, programme content, acquisition and production are the factors that have to be balanced when planning any production. Airwaves has the experience to assess any job from the smallest radio item to a full series of television programmes and to produce the desired result.

Airwaves were responsible for bringing Ellen MacArthur to television, teaching her the camera and communications techniques that she now uses so naturally, and which have made her a household name beyond the confines of her sport. We planned and produced Ellen's first television programmes, as well as making the promotional videos that were responsible for her obtaining major sponsorship.

Steve Ancsell was Executive Producer for the BT Global Challenge 1999/2000 and the Volvo Ocean Race 2000/2001. Dick Johnson was on-site daily news producer for the Volvo Ocean Race 2000/2001. We have also worked with most of the world's premier boating events from the 18ft Skiff World Championships to the Champagne Mumm Admiral's Cup.
