Fastnet Radio broadcasts and streams online from Sunday 6th August, taking over the transmitter from the award-winning team celebrating their 32nd edition of Cowes Radio as Cowes Week ends, with continued dedicated coverage of this classic yacht race run by the Royal Ocean Racing Club that is the 608 nautical mile Rolex Fastnet Race.

Full live commentaries from the Cowes Radio crew for the build up and entire start sequences at Cowes right through to the fleet leaving the Solent on 87.7fm, the Cowes Radio frequency. Coverage continues unabated through live links to competing yachts, interviews, position updates, arrivals, celebrations, stories and highlights throughout until the prizegiving in Plymouth on the evening of 11th August.

And like in 2015, our commentaries will also be be used for the live video coverage of the starts at Cowes, streamed here and on www.rolexfastnetrace.com and other popular boating websites.

The same award winning team that have produced Cowes Radio on air for the past 3 decades are in Plymouth catching all the action and interviews with race organisers RORC, winners, skippers and crew as they arrive.
